SYNTEC Posts THB 8.7 Billion Backlog, Set to Launch “The Standard Pattaya” Hotel in Q4
SYNTEC reported strong performance for the first half of 2025, with a net profit of THB 298 million from total revenue of THB 4.08 billion, supported by a robust backlog of over THB 8.7 billion to drive revenue for the remainder of the year. The company continues to execute its strategy of diversifying its business portfolio and is preparing to launch its new hotel, “The Standard Pattaya,” in the fourth quarter of 2025, reinforcing revenue growth and expanding its footprint in the hospitality sector.
Syntec Construction Public Company Limited (SYNTEC) announced its financial results for the six-month period ended June 30, 2025, recording total revenue of THB 4.08 billion and net profit of THB 298 million, reflecting a strong recovery amid persistent economic challenges.
As of the end of Q2 2025, SYNTEC reported an unrealized backlog of THB 8.71 billion, which will serve as a key revenue driver for the company’s future growth.
Under its “SYNTEC Next Gen” strategy, the company aims to navigate market volatility by focusing on effective cost management. Despite the increase in minimum wages, the impact on the company’s gross margin has remained limited, thanks to pre-emptive adjustments to project plans. SYNTEC continues to target large-scale projects such as data centers, energy infrastructure, office buildings, and international developments, which are expected to ensure stable and recurring revenue in the long term.
In the hospitality business, SYNTEC is gearing up to open “The Standard Pattaya” in Q4 2025. The hotel has already begun accepting pre-bookings at the “Thai Tiew Thai” travel fair, receiving an enthusiastic response. Meanwhile, the company’s hotel project in Phuket is currently in the research and partnership negotiation phase, marking another significant step in expanding into the service sector.
The management affirmed that the company remains unconcerned about potential labor or material shortages, as it can secure sufficient supply to meet project needs, ensuring smooth operations. This demonstrates SYNTEC’s capability and readiness to strengthen its position as a leading integrated construction and service provider in the future.
